Our Ink Colours
Riso inks are oil-based and transparent. They layer over one another, combining to create mixed tones. We currently stock the following eight ink colours. Hexadecimal and Pantone codes are given for screen reference only and do not correspond exactly with the printed product. Samples are available on request.

Our Papers
Our printer accepts paper up to 12” x 18” and our maximum print area is 10.5” x 16.5”. We stock a variety of uncoated papers in text and index weights (up to a maximum of 220gsm) and we are happy to provide samples. Due to the nature of Riso inks, we are not able to use coated paper stocks.

Pre- and post-production
We can help you get your files ready to print!
Each colour layer requires a separate 300dpi grayscale PDF file. We can walk you through the process of colour separating your full-colour files. Or hand them off to us and we can do the separations for you.
We are enthusiastic about the unique shapes that self-published objects can take and would love to talk with you about the many options for folded-paper zines and chapbooks.
We offer a few additional services such as trimming, scoring, and saddle-stitch (stapled) binding.
